Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTION OF THIS POSITION

  • 1. Monitor and Oversee Various Field Surveys
    Supervise and coordinate all field surveys conducted at the project site during Technical Due Diligence, Revalidation Studies, and Periodic Review Studies. Ensure that surveys such as NSV, FWD, traffic counts, and visual inspections are carried out as per defined methodologies, timelines, and quality standards.
  • 2. Verify Data Accuracy
    Thoroughly review and validate the data collected from field surveys to ensure it accurately represents the actual site conditions. Cross-check datasets, identify inconsistencies or anomalies, and coordinate with field teams for necessary corrections or re-surveys, if required.
  • 3. Analyse Data as per IRC Standards
    Perform detailed analysis of survey data in accordance with applicable Indian Roads Congress (IRC) guidelines and standards. Interpret results to assess pavement condition, structural capacity, and performance parameters relevant to the project.
  • 4. Review Cost Estimation
    Evaluate and validate cost estimates derived from survey findings, including maintenance, rehabilitation, and strengthening requirements. Ensure that cost assessments are aligned with standard practices, current market rates, and project-specific conditions.
  • 5. Maintain Records
    Establish and maintain a systematic repository of all survey data, analysis outputs, correspondence, and supporting documents. Ensure proper documentation for traceability, audit purposes, and future reference.
  • 6. Support in Preparation of Reports
    Assist in compiling, structuring, and reviewing technical reports related to due diligence, revalidation, and periodic review studies. Ensure that reports are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements prior to submission.
  • 7. Coordination with Various Stakeholders
    Liaise and coordinate with consultants, contractors, Authority representatives, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of surveys, data sharing, issue resolution, and timely completion of deliverables.

Candidate Profile

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Graduate in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience in Technical Due Diligence. Candidate should have experience of design of flexible pavement as well as rigid pavement.
