The Engineer TMS/ATMS will be responsible for the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of intelligent traffic management systems. This role focuses on ensuring efficient traffic operations through advanced technologies such as adaptive traffic signals, surveillance systems, and centralized control platforms.

MAJOR
RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTION OF THIS POSITION
- Design and implement Traffic Management System (TMS) and Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) solutions
- Configure, install, and commission field devices such as traffic signal controllers, CCTV cameras, ANPR systems, vehicle detectors, and Variable Message Signs (VMS), etc.
- Integrate field equipment with central traffic control systems (ICCC/ATMS software platforms)
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functioning of traffic infrastructure
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Coordinate with vendors, system integrators, and authorities during project execution
- Conduct system testing, validation, and acceptance (FAT/SAT)
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and system reports
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety guidelines

Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of traffic signal systems (fixed-time, adaptive, and AI-based control)
- Knowledge of ITS components: CCTV, ANPR, VMS, radar sensors, loop detectors, etc.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, switches, routers, fiber optics)
- Familiarity with system integration, protocols, and IoT-based architecture
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications
- Attention to detail and quality focus

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience in Smart City / Command Control Center (ICCC) projects
- Knowledge of data analytics or traffic flow analysis tools
- Certification in networking or relevant technologies
- Familiarity with NHAI project execution standards in India

- Combination of fieldwork (project sites) and office work
- Travel within city/project areas is often required

Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Graduate in Engineering preferably in IT/Electronics/Computer Science/ MCA with minimum 03 years
OR |
Diploma in Polytechnic in IT/Electronics/Computer Science from reputed institutes recognized by AICTE/ BCA with minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems, Electronic Toll Collection Systems (FASTag) and Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS).
