Job Description
The Engineer Construction cum Quality/ R & R will be responsible for repair, rehabilitation work by for existing structures and new construction works for bridges, flyovers, and other civil structures. The role includes supervising new construction activities to ensure quality standards are maintained, while also verifying that all materials, methodologies, and workmanship comply with MoRTH specifications, IRC codes, and relevant standards. Emphasis will be placed on achieving durability, structural safety, and long-term performance of both newly constructed and rehabilitated structures.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTION OF THIS POSITION
·Lead and oversee Construction activities & repair, rehabilitation, and new construction works for bridges, flyovers, and civil structures.
·Supervise and site teams to ensure strict compliance with MoRTH specifications, IRC codes, and relevant standards.
·Monitor material quality, workmanship, and construction practices to ensure durability, structural safety, and long-term performance.
·Conduct regular site inspections, audits, andreview meetings with project teams and contractors.
·Coordinate with consultants and contractors for resolution of technical and maintain proper documentation and records.
·Report to senior management on non-conformities, and corrective action plans.

Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience: 6–8 years of proven experience in the construction, repair, rehabilitation, and new development of bridges, flyovers, and other civil structures within the Construction/Operations/Maintenance sector, with a strong focus on structural repair and rehabilitation.
